Yoga is the practice of uniting spirit, mind and body. But with a busy everyday schedule it takes a lot of effort to change habits and routines.
This is an opportunity for you to take a vacation full of positive energy. After a week you will have exercised your body and relaxed your mind and you will feel healthier in both. Your body will feel the benefits of the daily practice, healthy food, mindfulness and relaxation.
Your instructor Rafael has designed a programme devoting full support your development. You will join a group of maximum 12 participants to allow a more personal and intense experience. Each day has its own theme and three classes a day embracing physical and medical practices.
We will take you Solta, a small, idyllic island in the Croatia archipelago. You will wake up by the waterfront and have the sea as the backdrop all day long. Connecting to the gorgeous nature, simple life and slow pace of the island stimulate focus and attention.
No distractions, no rush, no calls, no work, no regular life interruptions.

Daily schedule
Rafael, your coach and instructor for the retreat has designed a full programme for the week. Being a small group you have the luxury of personal guidance and feedback. Each day we will have yoga lessons in the morning and in the evening combined with meditation.
As optional supplementary activities you will find physical activities like mobility, pranayama or mindfullness running.

Having several yoga sessions every day doesn’t mean you will not have time on your own. You will have plenty of free time from leaving the breakfast table to the afternoon session or dinner in the evening. Find a spot in the shade, take a stroll at the beach, go for a swim or join one of the handpicked optional activities on the island, mentioned in the detailed programme above.
Instructor
Rafael Felix Valls is an experienced Yoga teacher from Spain and the creator of YOGA + RUN + LIVE. He studied at the International Yoga School with Mayte Criado and Swami Krishnananda. He is also a certified Physiotherapist and Osteopath and has dedicated his life to helps his clients understand how their body works and how they can overcome their injuries and pain to improve their life. He wants to share his philosophy and work of care and wellness through YOGA + RUN + LIVE by promoting the well-being, mobility and independence in people of all ages.
Yoga styles
During this Yoga Retreat, we are going to experience different classes and styles. From more physical and intense practice like Vinyasa or Power Yoga to gentle, soft and relaxing practice like Yin or Restorative Yoga. Everything fit and adapt to all people. Yoga is for all!
Who can join?
Everyone can join, all genders, all ages, singles and couples alike - even if you've never tried yoga before. At the retreat, you will learn different poses that can help reduce fatigue and improve your breathing.
The yoga retreat is for all levels, both beginners and experienced, who would like to deepen their yoga practice.
With a maximum of 12 participants, there will plenty of time for the individual.
Food
The quality and seasonal variety of Croatian produce is a heaven for culinary creativity. at Gone you will enjoy nutritious and tasty meals.
Our chef Maria is trained by Erwin Lauterbach, one of the top ranking Danish chefs and a pioneer of the New Nordic kitchen. Inspired by her training, her kitchen is a fusion of Mediterranean and the nordic simplicity. Fresh and tasteful with vegetables in the starring role.

The Villa
The villa is situated front row to the sea with plenty of terrace space and stunning views over the water and direct access to its own platform.
The large lower terrace is the perfect spot for yoga lessons. Literally just above the water you will enjoy the sound of the waves and the view of the turquoise sea. During the day you can enjoy your meals and relax on the terrace or one of the upper terraces surrounding the villa. Situated on a slope towards the sea the different levels provides more private spaces and new breathtaking views over the bay.
The Island
Solta is a small island, situated 9 nautical miles from Split. It is 58 square kilometers in size with 4 harbours and 24 bays littered along the 60km of gorgeous coastline. We will take you from the mainland to the villa on the island with your own private speedboat.
The small island is a bit of a hidden gem and an ideal escape for those who want to veer from the standard tourist trail for a glimpse of traditional island life.
Other activities
If you want to supplement your yoga training, you have the opportunity to participate in walking, hiking, running and biking tours. If you prefer the water, you can improve your swimming technique or why not test your balance on the stand up paddle boards.
Day trips
With the proximity to Split and the islands of Brac and Hvar, you can easily plan day trips and return to the peace and quiet at Solta. As a group you can even book a skipper for a private tour designed just to please your preference.

The price
900 euros per person in a shared double room
We accept bookings from groups of 2, 4, 6 or 8 people.
All prices are in Euros and will be added 13% VAT
Deposit of 50 percent to be paid when the booking is confirmed. The remaining 50 percent is to be paid two weeks before your arrival.
Flights to Split Airport are not included. Prices varies typically between 120 and 250 euros. We will be happy to support you in finding the best flight for you.
