Transport to and from Split
There are three options for getting to and from Split:
Car ferry between Split and Rogac, which sails 5-6 times a day. The trip takes 50 minutes and tickets can be purchased either on their website or in the ticket office at the port.
Catamaran between Split and Rogac, sailing twice a day. The trip takes 30 minutes and there's a catamaran ticket stand at the port.
Private transfer - Let us know if you prefer this option, and we can help arrange it.
Address
The house is a 20-minute drive from the port of Rogac.
The address is: Veli Dolac 81, 21432 Stomorska.
In Google Maps, the location is: https://g.page/GoneSolta?share.
Local bus
A local bus runs between the towns on the island. There are two lines, both commencing in Rogac. One drives east to Stomorska stopping at the palm roundabout. The other runs west to Maslinica.
Both schedules are adapted to ferry departures and arrivals.
Car rental
If you prefer to rent a car, we suggest you do so with pick up and drop off at Split Airport. We use Momondo as the search portal and usually rent through Sixt or Hertz.
Taxi
If you want to book a taxi or arrange a transfer to and from Rogac, call Ivo at +385 91 393 1303.
Boat rental
In Stomorska, a local man named Marino rents small boats (3-4 persons) for short trips around Stomorska. If you wish to rent a larger boat for longer trips, we recommend that you organise it from home.
Shopping - Stomorska
There are two small grocery stores in Stomorska where you'll find what you need.
Restaurants
There are small cozy restaurants in most of the island's cities. Our own favourites are:
- Stomorska town: Restaurant Volat
- Maslinica town: Restaurant Sismis
- Grohote town: Restaurant Momcin Dvor
- Rogac town: Restaurant Pasarela
Emergencies or in need of a doctor
In the storage room you will find a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit.
There is an English speaking doctor in Grohote and your blue EU health insurance card covers most costs.
112 is the emergency number in case of serious accidents or life-threatening situations.
How to say...

Dobro jutro = Good morning
Dobar dan = Good day
Dobra vecer = Good evening

Wifi
There is wifi in the house based on a mobile network, so it will work fine for regular browsing, but streaming is a gamble. The name is A1_5G_718107. The password is 71769218.
But leave the Internet alone. The sea is way better!
Arrival & Departure
You can arrive at the house at 15.00. Should you be on the ferry at 13.00, we suggest you use the waiting time to buy groceries and enjoy a lunch in Stomorska.
For the sake of the cleaner's stress level and change of bed linen, please leave the house on Saturday morning no later than 10.00.
