Asta & Friends:
Staying at Gone makes you feel like a local. It has that effortless charm and warmth you usually only experience in someone’s home.
Swimming in the ocean with my snorkel and mask looking for sea treasures was my favorite thing to do during our stay.
Try looking for some fossilized sea urchins or abalones.
Carina & Rasmus:
We really enjoyed our stay at Gone and it was exactly what we needed. The place was so scenic, authentic and calming. Struggling to say the absolute best thing, but I’ll list a few of them; creating homemade salads using the herbs and figs from the garden, going paddle boarding in the water in front of the house or simply just relaxing at one of the many terraces enjoying the serene sounds of the water and the spectacular view. It’s a place worth revisiting and unwind from the hectic everyday life.

This place is the perfect setting for a fantastic holiday for a lot of reasons. The house itself is great, with even greater views of the bay and sea from the many terraces. You literally only have to walk 10 meters from the entrance of the house to take a swim in the crystal clear waters.
Loved waking up in the morning to the beautiful view, going for a quick morning swim and then back on one of the many terraces with a coffee checking out if any new boats ad anchored up in the bay since the day before.
We were two families travelling together having the best time. We spent hours simply enjoying the sun and view from a sun bed, swimming, snorkeling or testing our balance on the house’ paddle boards. To top it all up, Maria and Casper are the most fantastic hosts that will go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Can’t recommend this place more. No need to look further - this is the place to stay for your next trip to Croatia.
Lerke & Rune:
We had the pleasure of Gone as our home for the last week of April for our spontaneous vacation. It w as pre-season and though that meant that the market on the island was still close, it also meant that we basically were the only tourist in paradise.
We spent the days enjoying the 25 degrees and the sun on the terraces, where our daily exercise consisted of a morning swim and then just moving ourselves and the sunbeds with the sun.
We had the pleasure of day trips to Split with a limited amount of tourists, and seeing the habours and cities of Solta slowly opening up for the season, while we were there.
The downside of being there pre-season is that the majority of the restaurants are still closed, and that the market is not open. The up-side is that you can really enjoy having the town to yourselves and just cook at home and enjoy the view.
We really loved it! And could just relax and enjoy the paradise around us – it was really amazing!
Tasi & Simon:
We spent a lovely week in Casper and Maria’s house here in Solta. The place is incredible and located right in front of the water.
We enjoyed the mornings with freshly brewed coffee and the magical views of the bay. A morning swim in the crystal clear water is a must and the perfect morning routine for this place!
Casper and Maria have two very good mountain bikes, so we went on a tour up in the hills to see some of the local areas and get into the nature. We went of the main road to some of the small paths all the way to Rogac where we had a delicious lunch at Pasarela. It was a great tour, but watch out for the spiders! The tour took around 4 hours.
If you are looking for a more festive and party vibe, we would suggest a visit to Hvar. It’s a great place for drinks. Thanks for a great stay!
Maja & Family:
Dear Gone,
We all had a wonderful time at your beautiful house. The weather was amazing, and the sea was even better. We cant wait for our next vacation to Solta.
Lots of summer vibes from Maja, Rilke, Emilia, Amalie and Sebastian.

Theresa & Fred:

You’ve found a truly unique and peaceful spot with breathtaking views and an unforgettable charm. We were honored to be among your first guests and can’t wait to see how this venture evolves.
Much love and much luck for the future! Merci, Grazie & Thank you!

We are really happy that you found your Croatian paradise and that your dream is becoming a reality.
The island is awesome, beautiful and quiet.
The waterfront house with all the terraces, amazing views and a pontoon is something that making it hard for us to leave now, but gives us numerous reasons to keep coming back, not to mention your hospitality and food.
Živi vječno!
